Luke is 10!

I love this 10 year old boy!  I can't believe he's hit double digits.  He is good, kind, happy, funny, smart, and responsible.  I'm glad my youngest 4 have him for an older brother.  Abigail wants me to add that he is a really good brother

Favorites-
food- junk food
color- Black and red
book- Minecraft gameknight 999 series
animal- komodo dragon
movie- a lot
band- Imagine Dragons
song- Radioactive
sport- basketball
video game- Minecraft
outside activity- gun wars with friends
school subject- recess and lunch

The Saturday before his birthday, Luke had a friend party.  He's had his eye on going to Toad's for a year now, so that's where we went.

I had a lot more cute pictures, but I accidently deleted them off of my phone :(

Sunday, the night before Luke's birthday, we had cake and ice cream at the Dawson's.

He chose french toast for his birthday breakfast

Since Luke's birthday also fell on the first day of spring break, we went to the park with cousins and Grandma.  They kids were all so excited to take turns pushing Ike on the swing.

Luke wanted to decorate his own cake.  He made a minecraft creeper guy... I'm pretty sure that's what it's called.
He's really been wanting a lava lamp.
He was pretty excited about it.
I love my Luke so much.

March Field Trips

Abigail got to go to McKay Dee Hospital for a field trip.  McKay Dee puts this on so that kids learn not to be afraid of the Hospital.  They learned all sorts of fun stuff.

On the way home, I passed the bus and found Abigail and her friend Kate.

Hailey had a field trip at the Treehouse for preschool.  One of her best friends, Oakley, has a baby brother for Ike to play with.  So us Moms just followed the girls and the babies around.

March randoms

Hailey came home from preschool with a new hat

Isaac loves when I let him drive

Isaac loves his book corner.  He sits in his chair even when he's by himself, with no one to read to him.

Ben realized that we had never taken the kids mini golfing, so we went to Toad's for FHE

My girls love to make bean pictures

These two are so silly together

 Ninjas

This guy loves the water.

 and the Cowboys

Hailey looked so sweet and peaceful staring out the window

Isaac is 1

This boy is the sunshine in our lives.  I can't say enough how much joy and happiness he has brought to our family.  I thought that after a year, the kids wouldn't be so obsessed with carrying him around and playing with him.  They have only become more obsessed with the little guy.

Isaac's favorites-
food- cottage cheese, applesauce, anything someone else is eating
book- bubbles bubbles (he sits in his little chair saying bubbles over and over while holding his book.
toys- balls.  He loves to throw the ball, and he makes a really good effort to catch it too!
song- Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam.  He gets so excited when the primary kids sing it.  I think it's because they jump up and yell the beam part.  He raises his arms and laughs along with them.
activities- being read to, going to Grandma's house, sitting in his car outside, and going for walks.

He dabbles in walking, and talking.  He won't commit to walking quite yet, but he knows how.  He is such a little copy cat.  He tries to say what he hears.  He can sing "let it go". He says, bye, ball, bubble, mama, dada, Aba (Abi), Cccc (Carly), biber (diaper), nana (banana)

Stats- 32 inches {98%} 23lbs 11oz {83%} He obviously takes after his Dad.

His birthday was on a Monday, but we decided to celebrate with Grandparents the night before during our Sunday dinner with the Dawsons.  Ike wasn't feeling very good and he just wanted to snuggle with his Grandmas.  He likes to tuck his arms in while he snuggles and I love it.

He loves to take the balls in the foyer to bounce on the tile

He loved his new reading chair

And his mega blocks

He got all shy when we were singing to him.

He started to perk up and enjoy his birthday

Monday night we still sang to him and had some left over cake for our family night treat.  He was still not feeling very good.

Abigail was so sweet, she really wanted to take a picture of Ike on his birthday.  She went and got a blanket for a back drop, and a ball to make him happy.  We got one picture that he wasn't crying in.

The rest of the day, he was pretty grouchy and spent a lot of time like this.

We love our Ike so much!
