New Years Eve

We had a fun New Years party at the Dawson's house!

 After discovering phone filters... the kids don't want to take normal pictures anymore.

 We had gobs and gobs or candy, the kids were in heaven.

End of the year wrap up

Just a few activities to finish up our Christmas break...

 Luke needed to do a service project for scouts, and he decided on pantry packs.  They are for kids that don't have enough food to eat over the weekend, when they don't have school lunch and breakfast.  The kids made an assembly line and got them put together.

 Isaac made me this cute picture of his hands at preschool.  I'm going to miss these small hands.

 It was so warm, so we headed to our favorite park.

 Ben and Eli did the low voltage wiring for the house. Abigail and Luke spent a few hours at the house with them, crawling around under the house running wires.

 Jed and Ben did all the siding on the house.  It really was a big undertaking, and Jed is an amazing brother to do this for us.

 First, they wrapped the house with Tyvek paper.

Christmas Day 2017

Christmas was wonderful and a little different this year.  Santa couldn't deliver the gifts if the kids slept by the tree... so Isaac, Carly, and Hailey squished in our bed while Luke and Abigail slept on the floor of our room.  I slept in the hallway and Ben took the couch.  It was hilariously crazy.

 The kids woke up so early this year.  That's why I slept in the hallway.. in case anyone decided to come check presents.  We finally let them out at 6 am.

 Brent and Grandma were early birds and watched us open our gifts.

 after every single thing Isaac opened he said, "this is what I always wanted!!!"

 We had the Dawsons over for breakfast, and relaxed the rest of the day

Christmas Eve 2017

Since we're living with Grandma and Grandpa, we get to see more of my siblings that come to visit.  We love it!  Christmas eve is also baby Archie's birthday, so we got to help celebrate!  

Everyone came over later for dinner and presents. Such a great night spent with the Jenkins family.
