Hailey turns 6!

Our sweet Hailey is six years old.  She is such a joy to have in this family.  She always has such nice things to say to her siblings and has lots of energy and spirit.  She is the only one that likes to tease Isaac. She draws little notes, folds them her own special way, then delievers them to everyone.  Some how the boys always catch her at recess and kiss her.  I'm pretty sure she allows herself to be caught.  She says the best prayers... I love to hear them.  She always asks for help in being a good friend and sister or brother.

May 2016

May has to be one of my favorite months... I love the promise of warm weather... and by this time of the year, we are all so sick of homework and responsibilites.

We had so many late baseball games that threw Ike off his schedule, he would fall asleep just about anywhere.

Ike is so obsessed with baseball.  He was very particular about wearing his hat to bed, while holding his ball and bat.

I love finding the pictures the kids take of each other on my phone.

I had a wonderful Mother's Day with these sweeties.  I am blessed to be their Mom.

Carly and Hailey had their tumbling review.

This was Hailey's second year and Carly's first.  I think we've finally found an activity that Carly loves.

We went on a field trip to the Nature Center with Carly's class.

 Finding bugs in the goop.

On the way home one day all three of the kids fell asleep.  I sat in the car for a while with them and listened to my book.

Fun at the park during a ball game.

 Fixing bikes with Dad.

Abigail did the Science/Math Olympiad at the Fair Grounds.  They came in fourth place for Barge building

Luke had bright pink uniforms this year... he said he was man enough to wear them.

Carly and a few friends at her field day.

She earned a book from her teacher

I absolutely love this picture of Luke... doing three of his favorite things almost simultaneously.  He had just finished playing basketball, came in to eat a bowl of cereal while reading.  I love this boy!

Luke was so excited to have Ike hang out with him and his friends at his field day.

All three girls played baseball the same two nights of the week. I hardly ever got to watch all three games.  One night Carly and Hailey played right next to each other and the same time.  So Abi and I just sat in the middle and were able to watch both.

 Last day of school 2016.
I've never struggled through a school year as much as I did this year.  Thankgoodness that my kids are becoming more responsible and can get their work done and turned in without too many reminders.  There were so many times we were doing homework on Monday morning, eating breakfast while running to the bus, and having to dig around for clothes to wear.  Summer has never been so welcomed as it has this year.

During Hailey's field day, the kids were getting pretty wound up.  I told them for our station, we were going to take a little nap ( I know, totally lame)  They actually stayed like this for a while... I think they secretly enjoyed quiet time.

Jake and Hailey weren't on the same Tball team, but we still got to see them a lot

Brent and Shelley came to visit, so we squeezed in a Temple visit.
