Elder Jenkins

My baby brother got his mission call on Wednesday. He will be serving in the Columbia Barranquilla mission. He'll be speaking Spanish and he leaves June 10th. Blake has such a good heart, and he is a hard worker, I know he will be a wonderful missionary.

Tight Squeeze

I wasn't sure how I would work having three beds in one tiny room, but we got it figured out. Everyone got a hand-me-down bed, Luke got Fisher's, Ab got Luke's, and Car got Ab's. The dresser went in the closet and there's just enough room to walk in and out. Luke and Abby are loving their beds, and they stay up talking a lot later because their beds are right next to each other. Carly is still in our room in a cradle for a couple weeks, until the kids get used to the new arrangement.

Same Old Stuff

Life has been a little boring of late... not much to blog about, but I did find some cute/interesting photos while uploading my pictures tonight.
Here's Abigail, pouting in the corner because I wanted her to put clothes on.

I guess Ab had her own little photo shoot the other day, because I found these pictures...

What do we think... future photographer?

Luke is growing right up! And not only does he look exactly like Ben, but they've got matching hats (see last post)

Our little Carly, aka Carly-kin, Cars, Card, Carly-sue, Car... fast asleep.

Date Night

The best part about our date night was that it was free! We went down to Salt Lake for dinner and the Jazz game. Ben did a bunch of overtime a month ago and they gave him Jazz tickets for his hard work. We ate dinner at Macaroni Grill (my favorite), we had a gift card for that, and my parents watched the kids for us. To top it off, the Jazz won! Which is good, Ben might have been a little moody on the way home if they'd lost to the Celtics.

Manly Men

Some of the men got together on Monday to go shooting. This is a favorite pastime (slight obsession) of Ben's family and mine. I'm hoping sometime soon they'll decide let the women tag along.

Ryan, Ben, Thomas Luke, and Eli.
