Crazy

This girl drives me crazy! Luke and Ab were never climbers like her. If she only did this once a day, fine, I could deal, but it's every time my back is turned. Or she climbs into her highchair to play with the light switches, or she's on the dining room table hanging from the light fixture. She just scoots the bench to where ever she wants to go. At least she's pretty good at getting down by herself.

I just had to throw this one in. I found these three playing 'ships and pirates, and good guys and bad guys' That's what Luke called it.

The other day someone asked me if I really was going to post pictures of my house. Well, here's the kitchen. Not too exciting, but I love the space. I still need to put some things above my cabinets, I just haven't gotten there yet.

My favorite thing in my kitchen is my pantry. I've never had one before, I can fit SO much food in there.

My 2nd favorite feature is my stove... my old one at our apartment didn't have all the burners working. All four work, and it's so much more convenient!

I actually don't know what to do with this wall. If I should push the hutch to one side and hang stuff on one side of the wall, or leave it in the middle and put stuff on both sides. Coming from a basement apartment, I love all the light in the kitchen and living room. I also love that we don't have to pull our tiny table out from the wall to eat together as a family. Courtney and Ryan left us some of their old furniture when we bought the house, the table was one thing. It's nice having a table we can all sit together at.

Sinus Infection

Yesterday Ab's eye was a little swollen, so I just thought I'd watch it... Today it was a lot swollen, so I called the Dr. Apparently it was a sinus infection that went into her eye. It hasn't bothered her at all. She just likes to look in the mirror at it, because it's pink... therefore beautiful.

Ski time

Larry has been taking Luke skiing with him. Luke gets so excited waiting for Grandpa to come and pick him up. This last time they went, Sharla, the girls, and I drove up to watch him come down a few times. He acted like such a big kid getting on and off the lift, then coming down with a huge grin on his face.

Abby wanted to try skiing too. So we had her put Luke stuff on, and Larry took her on the magic carpet. She got about fifteen feet, then sat down and said, "I'm finished" She talked about skiing for the rest of the day.

Christmas Day

We had a good Christmas!  The kids slept in on Christmas morning, and when Luke came in our room that morning, he had totally forgotten that it was Christmas. They had a good time opening their gifts. We had Grandma and Grandpa Dawson and Eli come over for Breakfast, then later in the afternoon we headed over to the Dawson's to see the rest of the family.
