Disneyland Trip Day 1

We surprised the kids Halloween night with a trip to Disneyland.  We told them that we were leaving that night.  I already had the car packed... bags, food, pillows, blankets, everything.  We went to my parent's Halloween party and dropped off my sweet little baby, Isaac. We knew that he wouldn't have very much fun being dragged around Disneyland, not to mention the car ride.  I'm glad he could stay home and be with his grandparents.  They took such good care of him!  He stayed with Sharla and Larry a night, and with my parents the rest of the time.  So it really did work out great... but I will never do that again.  I hated having my family separated!
Halloween night, we drove 4 hours to Cedar City and stayed the night.  The next morning we woke up fairly early and drove to LasVegas for lunch.  We looked around a bit and then got to Anaheim around 5 p.m.

They loved the hotels.  Abigail looks for bibles whenever we're in a hotel.  She always gets it out to read.  She was actually just watching cartoons.
Leaving Cedar City on Saturday morning.
Grandma Sharla sent lots of fun games and movies and candy to entertain the kids.

They loved the M & M store.  It was hard for them to understand that Disneyland would be way cooler, with better souvenirs.

The last 20 minutes before we got to the hotel, I asked Carly to scoot over and be Hailey's pillow.
They couldn't wait to swim as soon as we got there.  It was not warm enough for me, so Ben got in with them and I just watched.

Halloween 2014

We had lots of fun this Halloween.  The kids each had a few parties to go to before the big day.  On Halloween we went trick or treating, then to my Mom and Dad's for a party, and then we started driving to California for Disneyland.

We had a skeleton, cheerleader, witch, vampire princess, and a cute little skunk.

Fall Break 2014

We managed to keep busy during the fall break this year.  We went on a hike up the divide with our Jenkins cousins on Thursday.  On Friday, I took the kids to a corn maze and to the fish farm.  We also ate out too much and stayed up too late, which is the best part.

Pumpkin Pizza Park Party

Every year my Mom treats us (my sisters and our kids) to pizza at the park, and pumpkin picking.  It's usually a little chilly, so this year I had the brilliant idea to go earlier in the year.  We froze.  We had to leave the park early, because Isaac blew away in his stroller, and the babies were all cold.  We went to my Mom's to eat instead and then went to the Weston's pumpkin patch in Plain City.  It's a good thing that kids are oblivious to the cold and wet.  They were all sliding around in the mud having a great time!  We all look forward to this fun tradition every year.

Apples!

Jessica's brother-in-law told us we could come and pick all the apples we wanted from their tree.  Jess and I loaded up all the kids and went apple picking.  It started out pretty good.  By the end though, Jess was holding two crying babies and the kids were throwing apples.
We made applesauce and pie filling.  Abigail has recently crossed over from 'pretty helpful', to 'I couldn't get anything done with out her'.  Carly and Hailey loved "helping", but Abigail really actually did a lot.  She is one hard worker.

This girl was like a machine when it came to turning the handle and smashing the apples down.

The girls get so excited to do all of this together.

Who can resist a sweet baby in Halloween p.j.'s?

I am going to miss the day when he doesn't fall asleep in my arms anymore!
