 Abigail has the perfect bike for giving Carly a lift.

 Carly and I went to the treehouse for her first grade field trip. 

 We made wands and participated in a play.

 We played restaurant for a bit with her friends.

 Date night

 Carly and Hailey both snuck into my bed during the night and snuggled up together.

 I found Luke in Ike's crib one morning.  I asked Luke what happened during the night and he said Ike asked him to come and sleep with him.  Best brother ever.

 Our ward had a family Pinewood Derby night.  The kids loved it!

 My Mom had a special Easter lesson for the kids.  

 They like to see Grandpa Jenkins's name on the war memorial

 She had an Easter egg hunt for the kids

 We were able to go spend the day with the Dawsons for my nephew's baptism. 

 Abigail and Sadie are such cute cousins.

 Grandma Sharla made Easter baskets for all the kids and the men went and hid them.  It went so fast I only got this one picture.  Ike was so pleased with his basket of candy.

 Easter morning at our house was so fun.  The kids love searching for their baskets.

Isaac turns 2! March 2016

Isaac is the best little two year old around.  

We can't get enough of him.

Favorites:

song- I love to see the temple, take me out to the ballgame

food- mandarin oranges, pancakes, grilled cheese (string cheese)

book- Prince and the Pauper (the one with Mickey Mouse)

outside activity- ride bikes  

friends- Jacob, Noah, Ben

Isaac loves to go to nursery at Church.  At the beginning of sacrament he stands on the bench and turns around looking for his nursery teachers.  As soon as he sees them he shouts, "I found Robert and Tamara! Oh hi Robert!" As he waves.  It's slightly disruptive, but he loves his nursery leaders so much!  When he talks about the kids he says, "I want my Carly," or "Where is my Luke?" He likes to do whatever Luke is doing and follows him around when he's with his friends.  Luke loves to have him around.  I just can't say enough how much we love him!

February school stuff 2016

Luke asked me to come up with a really fun game for his Valentine's party.  I planned a game that did not fit with their hyperactivity... so I scrapped that and we played missionary tag instead.  They loved it and only a couple of people got hurt.  That's how I measure the success of activities for parties.  If there are only a couple accidents, then I feel it went well.

 Hailey just loves to pretend she's a first grader with Carly.  When we goes to the parties, she just goes with the group Carly is in.

Hailey cracks me up, she  told me that she was going to stay in Carly's class until school got out.  She found a seat and did whatever Mrs. Deamer told the class to do.

I'm not very creative for crazy hair day, I really struggle with it.  Luckily, Abigail only wanted messy buns and Luke just needed spray paint. Carly didn't even want anything done. 

We went to the Storyteller's festival at the Egyptian theater for Abigail's class.  It was so fun!  They kept us laughing.  Luke was there too, but he got to listen to different story tellers than we did.  I could have sat all day and listened.  

 After the Storyteller festival, Abigail's grade went back to school, but Luke's grade went to the Treehouse Museum.  They did a play, and thankfully, 5th graders don't have to do the usual wand making... instead they made copies of the Declaration of Independence and had free time.

Luke has such a great group of friends from our neighborhood in his class.

Blue and Gold February 2016

Luke received his Arrow of Light award at the Blue and Gold in February.  He was so excited to set up his table and put lots of thought into what he would bring to show case what he likes.  He has worked hard in Scouts to earn awards.  His leaders have been so great and pushed him right along.  Now he's excited to see what 11 year old scouts is all about.
