Family Time

Brent, Shelley, and boys came up for the weekend, so we had a family BBQ.

Archie has the cutest chubby cheeks!

The sun was just too bright for Jett, we had to make him a little hat while he ate his bottle.

Ike and Noah had a little sword fight.  They are the best of friends.

Blake blessed sweet little baby Jett.  He did a wonderful job.  Afterwards, we went to a park and ate lunch with everyone.

The middle of April

The kids are always asking to ride this weird pig at Walmart.  I finally agreed.

This is a pretty typical scene for Isaac.  Swim suit, coleslaw, and cars.  He loves all three so much!

Abigail had her spring choir concert and did such a great job!

I love her sweet smile!

Packing up the house has been stressful, along with end of school year stuff.
Ben knew I was needing something special.

Easter Sunday

It's always so fun to watch the kids look for their baskets on Easter morning.  Half of them want us to tell them where their baskets are, and the other ones find their own baskets, and Carly usually find her basket and the basket of the ones who gave up.

I love that we get to go to church on Easter.

After church, we went and visited some new little lambs.  Grandma Barb's friend has a fun little farm, and the kids loved exploring and seeing all of the animals.

I think their favorite part was riding around Plain City in the bed of the truck.

The first half of April

babysitting Jett is always so much fun!

We love to take pictures with him.

Carly had a fun field trip to the dinosaur park

The girls had this cute idea for a picture

My foot is still trying to heal.  I keep sending pictures to the Dr. to see if the stitches can come out yet.  They said I have to stay off my foot so the skin will stick together.  It's almost impossible to do that while getting ready to move.

Spring Break 2017

Our Spring break went a little different than planned this year.  We were going to do all sorts of fun stuff.  We started out going to ice cream on Monday morning.

After ice cream, I took the kids home and went to the dermatologist for my foot.  I've had a growth on the top of my foot that drove me crazy and hurt when people stepped on it.  I thought it would be an easy fix, but Dr. Tingey decided to cut it out, since it had already regrown when we'd shaved it off.  Since it was kinda a mini surgery, it was going to take longer than planned.  I called my Mom to go watch the kids and feed them dinner.  The Dr. told me to stay off my feet as much as possible since that was going to be a difficult place to heal.  So, for the next few days, we hung out at home and I packed up the house in the mornings, and put my foot up for an hour or two in the afternoons.

Friday, Ben and I drove to Las Vegas for a George Strait concert.  I was nervous about my foot, but we spent so much time sitting in the car, that it was probably better than being at home.  We went to the Temple as soon as we got into town, we changed into our church clothes in the church parking lot next to the temple.
It is such a beautiful temple!

Then we drove to Brent and Shelley's to visit with them, drop off our bags, and eat dinner.  We drove back to the strip for the concert.  George played his first 30 number one hits.  It was so fun, and Ben was a great sport to go with me.

Hands down, the best part was when He played his Pure Country songs.  It's one of my most favorite movies.

We love to visit Brent, Shelley, and their boys!
