My littlest daughter is 7!

I love watching my Hailey girl grow.  She's a happy, fun, spirited girl.  She says the sweetest prayers, is always thinking of others, and her school teacher has often said what a good friend she is. She likes to make cards and pictures for others, especially her family.  She plays hard, and loves sports, tumbling, and being in constant movement.  She's a great reader and gets excited to do her homework.

Hailey's friend party

Hailey had all of her Harrisville friends come over for her 7th birthday party.  We had a camping theme, so we roasted hotdogs and smores, a nature scavenger hunt, pin the marshmallow on the fire, dug in the sandbox for bugs, and played dodgeball.  Abigail and Luke helped plan the party and prepare for it.  They hid the bugs so well, the kids found less than half.  I only oversaw the cooking part.  When the guests started arriving, Ike ran in and put on his swim suit.  It was hilarious.

Hailey had the best day, thanks to all of her cute friends and siblings.

The last week of school

Carly, Addison, and Katie have been inseperable since we moved to Plain City.  These girls are always thinking up crazy things to do.

Abigail and her friend, Kate, did business day together.  Abigail sewed a lot of cute chickens for prizes for their game.

Luke is always so willing to read to Isaac.  I love their brother bond.

Abigail did a sewing class the school year.  She did so well!  They had a fashion show to model all of their creations, it was so fun to watch.

Last day of school!  We've been looking forward to this day so much!
This is the last time I'll have the four oldest kids in the same school, which makes me a little sad.

Carly's class went on a walk to the overpass.  Ike and I got to tag along.

Carly and the beloved Mrs. Montgomery.  There aren't enough words to express how dear she has been to our family!  We love her.

Abigail's best friend, Kate, made her the cutest candy poster.  I'm glad Abi has her for a friend,
she is the sweetest.

At school and at home

Carly had her special grandparents day.  They sang lots of fun songs and showed off all their art work and school projects.

Carly's lucky that her two sweet grandmas could come.

All the kids love to go to the orthodontist with Luke and Abigail.  They usually have fun treats.

I saw the kids out on the trampoline together.

Abigail had her Pioneer day at the Slaterville park.  Ike and I helped make the scones.

I love that he fell asleep like this.

Luke had his Nova graduation.  He loved going through the program and would always come home with lots of stuff to tell me about.

Grandma Sharla came to watch Luke graduate.

The crazy week

Jess and Matt asked us to dog-sit Quigley while they went on a week long road trip.  We all went and stayed in North Ogden, since Quigley had all he needed there.  My kids were excited to sleep in beds again... although we were short two beds, so they just shared.
It was quite an adventurous week. We had all the regular stuff like baseball, tumbling, school, scouts, sewing and random activities, but to make it busier, it was teacher appreciation at the elementary, which I was in charge of. So I ended up driving a triangle from North Ogden to Pioneer Elementary to Plain City several times a day, often with Quigley in tow.  I often forgot contacts, clothes, homework, etc. at one place and had to go get it.  It really was a week to remember. The kids loved staying at the Stringham's because they have so many cool toys and a fun backyard.

Carly and her two cute friends did a tumbling routine for their second grade talent show.

We ordered lunch from Bella's for the teacher appreciation luncheon.  I'm so glad I had so much help from friends, it turned out so good.

I loved the little gifts for the teachers.  My friend, Jamie, put them together and she always does a great job!

One of the many car adventures that Quigley had with us.

Abigail tried out pitching for the first time for softball.  I brought Quigley with me to the game, and a super tall man walked past us at the game.  Quigley went after him and started barking like crazy.  I had to hold on to the leash so tight.

Luke did a great job on his country report.  His teacher asked if she could keep his board to show as an example for next year.  She said it looked so nice.

Abigail loved taking Quigley for walks.

The first night Ben came to Jessica's house, Quigley saw him coming up the stairs and lost it.  Crazy growling and barking.  He wouldn't even let him come up until I distracted him with a bone.  He does not like Ben.  I decided that after seeing the tall guy at the park and then Ben, that he doesn't like overly tall men.  Quigley likes me a lot though, sometimes too much.  He licks me all day.  One night I got tired of it and I sat on Ben's lap because he wouldn't even come near Ben.  Quigley just growled at me from afar.  Like he knew I was doing it on purpose.  I stayed that way for so long that Ben fell asleep.

The girls took turns sharing Emma's bed and sleeping on the floor.

Beau and Kael come over one day when we got home from Jessica's.  Ike saw Kael's shirt and was so worried that he had taken his.  He ran and found his in the dresser and put it on so they could be twins.
