A week without Luke

We kept busy while Luke was away at scout camp.  We knew he was having fun, so we better do some fun things too.  Also, we didn't want to sit around missing him.

We have a foundation!

We went to the Fair with some friends.  Isaac got a baseball painted on his leg just like last year.

The kids won these glasses, and they all agreed that they look like Uncle Brent.  So we took a picture to send him.

We went to Village Inn for lunch.  This is a favorite of the kids, because they all have such different foods they like.  Everyone can find something they like at VI.

Willard Bay

Jed, Shannon, Jess, My Mom, all the kids, and I went to Willard Bay for the afternoon. Hailey stayed on the kayak the entire time.  She loved that thing.  The kids lasted way longer than I thought.  They played on the beach and in the water for hours.  Such a fun day!

Scout Camp

Luke went to scout camp for an entire week.  This is the longest I've ever been away from one of my kids.  He has great leaders so I didn't worry for a second, I just missed him!  Ben went up a stayed a night with them, and he said Luke was having a blast.  He came home with 6 merit badges, filthy from head to toe, and a few innapropriate jokes.  I love what a great Young Man he is growing into.  His leaders all had great things to say about him.

Camping with Friends

This little camping trip up South Fork canyon with the Field's and Riches was one big party.  I feel like we didn't stop laughing all weekend.  So many memories made in such a short time. We had too many people in our camps, and stayed up too late, which made our camp host super unhappy.  She didn't like kids, and since we have a slew of kids between the three families, she kinda picked on us.  It just made everything she got mad about more funny.  The kids tubed down the river the next morning, and we stopped at a park for lunch on the way home.  We love being with our friends!

I had to stand on my tiptoes to make it look like I was one of the adults and not one of the kids.

Shannon had just announced that she was pregnant when the picture clicked.  Abigail's expression is priceless!  She yelled, 'WHAT!?'

house and hair

Ready for cement, so exciting!

The boys looked so handsome with their hair cuts.  I told the lady to cut Isaac's like Luke's, but he said no.  So she said she would do something different.  I guess Isaac's opinion matters more than mine.

It was so fun to see so many trucks at the house today.  Isaac loved watching the cement trucks all day.
