a few odds and ends

Hailey got to make a poster all about herself for when she's the star student at school.

Hawaiian shirt day at school for Luke.  Good thing Grandpa had one he could borrow!

 eating lunch with Ike

Carly is such a climber.  We were at Luke's football game and I look over to see her climbing all the trees in the park.

We went to Woodruff for my nephew's baby blessing and saw some sheep on the way.

Ben's cousin has built the best tree house in his yard.  Ben used to play there all the time when he was a kid.  We took the kids over to play for a bit.  Abi kept putting Lola the dog in the bucket and hoisting her up.

The treehouse made Ike a little nervous with how tall it was, so he rode bikes instead.

Ike loves to sit with Grandpa Larry.

Labor day

We went with Grandma and Grandpa Dawson to Hooper tomato days.  It was the first time we've taken the kids, which is probably terrible since Ben grew up in Hooper.  Ben got to see lots of friends and family members.  The kids had a great time!

Summer Sundays

I love our Sunday get togethers in the summer.  The kids play outside all evening.  They have silly games they play everytime all the cousins come over.  They are building lasting bonds and great memories!

Sea Quest

We took the kids to the aquarium in Layton this weekend.  The older kids loved touching all the fish and turtles.  Isaac wouldn't even go near the glass wall of the aquarium.  He screamed so loud.  He was petrified.  By the time we got to the middle where it opens up into a big room, he had chilled out a little and was fine.

sleeping sisters and a friend party

These kids sleep so squished together, they probably think it's a pain, but I love seeing how cute they look all snuggled up together.

Some of most favorite friends, the Darrington's, invited us over to watch a movie with them and the Schofield's  We miss having those two families for neighbors!
