Halloween

Halloween was such a blast this year!  The kids got to dress up for school for the first time ever.  They were excited about this since our old school didn't allow it.
On their way out the door for school.

We got to go watch the kids parade around in their costumes.  Abigail was a cowgirl.

My nephew, Beau, was Harry Potter

Carly with her cute cousin, Addy the clown, in front of her.

I love that Hailey waved to me.

My nephew, Kael, was a death eater.

We went and helped with Carly's party.  Ike was so happy to be a part of it.  Her teacher was telling jokes and Ike was laughing so hard.  They also watched 'The Great Pumpkin' and Ike laughed through the whole thing.  After the movie, Mr. Gertsch said the best part of the movie was watching Carly's little brother laugh so much.

He acted so grown up sitting next to Carly.

Next, we went and helped with Abi's class.  They were wrapping each other up like mummies.

We went trick or treating around our new ward with Grandma and Grandpa Dawson, then back to G&G Jenkins for dinner and a party.

Nature Center

Hailey and I got to go on a field trip to the Nature Center.  It was freezing!  We had to stay moving to keep warm, but we had a great time together.

Basketball and the Halloween run

Abigail had her first basketball game of the season.  She played Harrisville, against her best friend Kate.  It was fun to see them together, even if it wasn't on the same team.

These two girls are the sweetest!

Later in the evening, the whole family raced.  Luke, Abigail, and Ben did the 5k, and the rest of us did the kids k.

Ben and Abi have been running and training together for this race.  I was so proud of all of them for finishing and doing so well.

Isaac's nursery leader saw us running into the finish and she grabbed Isaac's hand and helped him finish.  He was so happy!

 Luke's done!

 They made it!

Fall fun

Isaac had class pictures done with his preschool.  He has the cutest little friends and he loves his teacher so much!

cowgirl Abigail getting ready for the Halloween carnival

Luke's costume (hockey mask) hadn't come in the mail yet, so he wore Uncle Blake's old wig.

Isaac waited so patiently in line to race the cars at the carnival

The kids and I went on a drive over to Eden to see the fall leaves and have dinner.
After dinner and ice cream, we went to a park.

When we got home from the park, it was time to carve pumpkins.

Hailey worked so hard on her spider pattern, but didn't realize she was cutting the legs off, so the whole spider came out.  She added some eyeballs, and she turned it into a pretty cute scared pumpkin instead.

I only helped Isaac with his pumpkin, the other kids did it 100% on their own.  I loved seeing what they came up with.

Green Acres

During fall break one day, we decided to go to Green Acres corn maze with cousins.  They had lots of other things besides just the maze, which is good since my youngest two didn't care for it.  We spent a few good hours there with lots of things to do.
