Disney trip day 3

There is seriously no better feeling in the world, than walking through those Disney gates.  I get emotional every time, as strange as that sounds.
We like to get up and going so we can be close to the front of the line.  We were right up front on our first morning.

Space mountain was our first ride.
Hailey still doesn't love it, and Isaac didn't enjoy his first time.

So we went to Nemo next for Isaac to have a fun ride.

Buzz light year was super fun

The girls were very into meeting Characters this year, so we stopped nearly every time we saw them.

The kids' first time on It's a Small World.
I LOVE this ride!  We went on it several times.
Ben and Luke tolerate it because we can get out of the heat.

Luke got his knee stuck in the railing right after this picture.  It actually took us a few minutes to get it unstuck.

 Headed in!

Isaac loved it!  He was so excited about every new area we went into,
and kept pointing it all out.

And we're done.  We took another, because I missed Carly's face in the first one.

Isaac was dying to meet Mickey.

 checking out Minnie's house

 Big thunder mountain!

Dole Whips on the Jungle Cruise

We rode the tea cups over and over and over

We had an amazingly magical first day!

Disney trip day 1 and 2

We surprised the kids with a trip to Disneyland!
Nearly everyday, Isaac prays that we can go to Disneyland... so Saturday morning during Ben's breakfast prayer, he asked for a blessing of safety as we drive to Disneyland the next day.  Isaac started whispering during the prayer, "He said Disneyland! He said Disneyland!"  They were so excited.
Sunday morning, we went to sacrament and then drove to Las Vegas to stay with Brent and Shelley for the night.  We made it in time to watch the super bowl.
 leaving the house Sunday morning
 We made it to Vegas!
We were so excited to see our Vegas babies!

It was such a nice visit with my brothers and their families

Monday morning, we finished the drive to California.  We got there in the afternoon and checked in to our hotel.  We walked to downtown Disney, bought our tickets and looked around at the shops.

Our hotel description said that we had a sofa bed.  Which I wrongly assumed to mean a normal sized sofa bed.  It only slept one person, which meant we had three people in both of the double beds.  We won't make that mistake again... although we now have some fun memories.

We could see California Adventure from our hotel, and it was an easy walk to the park.

Monday night, the kids and Ben wanted to swim.  It was still a little chilly, but they didn't mind.
