Dallin

So I know I've mentioned this little guy before, but I've never formally introduced him. This is Dallin. He belongs to my cousin, Nicole. I started babysitting him a few months ago, and he is such a good boy. He's almost 2 and he gets along with Abby so well. He comes every day from 6:30 to 3:45. It's funny on Saturday and Sunday mornings, the kids are always sad to find out that he's not coming over that day. So now you all know the little boy who is randomly on my blog.

Oh, I thought I'd add a little conversation Ab and Dallin had a little while ago. But first you have to know that Abby asks 'why' ALL the time, and Dallin likes to do what Abby does.

Dallin: why Abby?

Abby: because

Dallin: why?

Abby: just because!

Dallin: why?

Abby: don't say why ever again!

Carly's in a drawer

I love it when Carly rips all the lids out and sits in here, because she's afraid to climb back out. So whenever I'm doing the dishes, she climbs in and plays till I'm done and I let her out. She only started doing this the last couple of days, so I'm sure pretty soon she'll work up the guts to climb out, but for now it's fun.

Dino Park

I had some coupons for the dinosaur park, so Ben and I took the kids last week. After Abigail decided that the big statues wouldn't hurt her, the kids had a good time.
The sign says it all!

Carly was really happy... even though she sat in the stroller most of the time.

I love Abby's chubby little face in this one.
The people in front of us were taking a picture on this rock, so when it was our turn to look, Ab and Luke just sat down and said cheese.

Whenever Ab gets scared, even though there's no noise, she covers her ears

little fish

Carly's my little fish... I've never seen a baby more in love with the water! She freaks out in the tub and the pool, and she loves water in her face. Here we are at the Splash Pad, she loved it.

Carly and Beau, checking out the fountains

This girl needs to learn how to walk, she crawls like this all the time.

Happy as can be.

I know you're wondering where my other kids were... they were there, but they were so busy running and having a good time, the only pictures I got of them were just a blurry whoosh.

camping in paradise

This year, the Jenkins family reunion was held in Paradise, UT. My Uncle Scott and Aunt Becky were in charge, and we had a great time.

AAARRGH!

There was a carnival for the kids

Beau and Carly in matching jammies... Hopefully one day Carly will forgive me for dressing her in Luke's old P.J.'s.

Playing Ball

Playing the newlywed game. The four couples that have been married the longest on the left, and the four couples who were married the most recent on the right.

Addison and Carly

We had a obstacle course, and we got 1st place! You can imagine how special I felt, because I really never win anything!
The winning team consisted of Matt W., Matt S. (we have a ridiculous amount of Matts in the family... thus the last initial), Jess, Me, my Mom, and Benjamin.

We made potato cars and raced them on a track... Luke was so excited he didn't even care that ours had to be pushed down the track

Grandpa helping Abigail make her rope

The rope making was for the kids, but the adults loved it too.

Abigail loved her rope.  It's probably her most favorite toy now.

It didn't matter whose turn it was to run under, Ab went everytime.

Luke doing some male bonding over ice cream cones

Ab found a pink chair! You can imagine her excitement

Right before we left, Carly crashed... she usually doesn't fall asleep while being held, but camping had taken its toll. We had a great weekend!
