Disneyland Trip Day 3

On Day three we went to California Adventure.  The kids were worried that they wouldn't like it as much as Disneyland... but by the time we walked in and they saw it, they decided it was just as awesome.

If there wasn't a line next to a character, then the kids wanted a picture.

After the bug's life ride, Hailey said, "I think that was for babies".  It was probably the least favorite... I'm not sure why we went on that one.

 Riding on the Golden Zephyr

Abigail and Luke were clear in the front.

The kids loved this ride.

The kids were excited to go to the Cozy Cone and get ice cream.

waiting in line for Toy Story Mania.  This was one of Hailey's favorite rides.

Every time we asked someone to take our picture, they cut Ben's head off.  The guy had to retake this one several times and he still missed the top.
Waiting for the parade to start.  This was surprisingly one of my favorite things.   I loved the parades, and it was a good opportunity to see all of the characters.

Our last ride of the night was the Tower of Terror.  I kept debating whether we should take her or not... but I saw other small kids in line too, so we did.   She screamed the entire time, and she was shaking so bad.  I felt awful.  I started crying with her, because she was crying so hard. When we walked off the ride at the end, people were staring at us.  As soon as we were done, we walked right into the gift shop to pick out a souvenier.  She kept asking, "Why did you take me there!?"  After the gift shop we went on Monsters Inc. and she was laughing and happy again.  We realized that just because Hailey is tall enough to go on all of the rides, it doesn't mean she should.  I forget she's only 4 sometimes.
The only ride she wasn't tall enough for, was Indiana Jones.

Disneyland Trip Day 2

Day 2 was Sunday... gasp.  I know, I feel incredibly guilty that we went on a Sunday, but that's how our scheduling worked out.  We'll never do it again.  Just don't tell my kids, they never realized we went on Sunday, and that's how I'd like to keep it.

We went to Disneyland the first day and walked right in the gate, no lines at all.   I loved how excited the kids were seeing it for the first time.  They kept telling us thanks and that they loved us so much.  It was decorated for Halloween still.  The lines were all pretty short, and it was such a fun day.  Our first ride was Star Tours, and it was my favorite one.  Hailey was nervous for it, but I promised treats so she got on.

We went on Space mountain next, and it was extra scary for Halloween.  With big scary ghost faces and bloody eyes.  Hailey screamed the entire ride.  She was shaking when we got done, I felt horrible.

I let Hailey pick the next ride... Nemo.

Abigail just got done reading Mr. Toad at school, so she wanted to send a picture of her and Mr. Toad to send to her teacher.

The kids liked toon town, but thought it was ridiculous to wait in line to see the characters.  I was so glad they didn't want to.

When we were tired, we stopped and watched a show and ate candy.

 Jungle Tour

 Haunted Mansion
We hit almost every ride the first day.  It was a perfect day.
