February 2015

Isaac was sick the whole first half of February with a nasty cold.  It was hard to get a smile out of him.  Abigail said that it looked like he had precious moment eyes when he was sick, cute but sad.

We try to keep the babies in the living room during Sunday dinner.  Nash and Noah have now figured out how to climb over.  Ike's still working on it :)

I just thought he looked so grown up in his new big kid car seat and shoes.
 He just wanted out.

I got Hailey ready for her preschool valentine party and she thought she looked so cute and asked for a picture.

Hailey and I helped out at Carly's school Valentine's party.

Luke had a basketball game early Valentine's day.  Larry and Sharla showed up before his game and heart attacked us with treats.  The kids were so excited about the surprises on our door step.  Then we went to Luke's game and to Village Inn for breakfast afterwards.

That afternoon Grandma and Grandpa Jenkins brought mini pizzas over for the kids to make and a heart one for me and Ben.  The kids are lucky to have their grandparents.

Luke will read to anyone, anytime I ask him to.  Hailey loves being read to, and she likes that Luke lets her pick any book...  Abigail usually bribes her to pick certain ones :)

We had our fabulous Blue and Gold Banquet.  They went all out on the Lego theme and even brought bins and bins of Legos for the kids to play with.  It was a hit.

Seriously, what would I do with out him?

Hailey loves to bake.

Luke finished his basketball season.
This year he loved the game more than the promise of treats afterwards :)

Abigail and Carly looked so cute for their dance pictures

4th grade field trip

The 4th graders got to go on an all day field trip to Salt Lake.  We started at the Natural History Museum, then to the Daughters of the Utah Pioneer museum, then to the State Capitol.  I had never been to any of these places and I was amazed by them all.  I wish I had had a lot of extra time at the Pioneer museum, I especially loved all of the history there.
I was in charge of 3 perfectly behaved individuals.  They made the day so fun.

We ate lunch at the Capitol. They were out of tables, so we sat along the walls.  Hardly any of the kids could drink their milk, because it was still frozen from the cooler.  They were a little sad about that. Luckily, Luke and I brought home lunch.  The kids cracked me up.  I loved listening to them.  We mostly talked about our favorite Studio C moments.

I loved hanging out with Luke the entire day.

January 2015

Isaac gets so happy to snuggle with Dad when he gets home from work

 New Years Day

After we drop Hailey off at preschool, Carly asks if she can climb in the front seat and drive around the neighborhood with the window rolled down, while singing her little heart out.

Ike loves being pushed around in all the doll strollers we have.  He doesn't even mind when he gets tipped over.

Abigail doesn't like for Ike to be in his high chair all alone during breakfast.  So she sits him right in the middle of everyone and shares her breakfast
We had our big Jenkins family holiday party... and this year Blake brought a special date with him

Isaac discovered Grandpa Larry's harp and he loves it.

Hailey had a field trip to the firestation.

One Sunday night, we tried to get the three babies in a picture together.  I don't know why we keep trying... it just never works :)

Hailey carries my old MP3 player around, it keeps her entertained so well.

The handsome birthday man!
Ben turned 32 this year.

 We had parent teacher conference.
They were all little angels while waiting patiently in the hallway when it wasn't their turn.

Carly thought it was high time that Ike learned how to navigate the stairs.  I think it's just better to use the baby gate :)

 Luke earned his Bear award!
He is loving scouts so much.
Isaac was sick for the first time in his little life.  It was so traumatic for everyone.
The kids were so sad about.  He pretty much just lived in my arms  for a few days.
Sharla's uncle called and asked if she wanted her Grandma's piano.  Lucky for us, Larry and Sharla already have one.  The piano had been sitting in an empty house for 24 years, but it's still in amazing shape.  Ben, Larry, and Eli loaded it and brought it home.  I'm so excited for the kids to start piano lessons!
