swimming lessons

Isaac had swimming lessons for two days this year before his teacher got sick and had to cancel.  But they were the two best days ever.  He loved learning how to swim.  Hopefully next year, we'll get a full session in!

Jay Jenkins reunion

We were in charge of my family reunion this year.  We went to the Meadows campground in Fish Lake National forest.  It was a beautiful campground with a little stream running through it.  The kids played in the water even though it was freezing!  We had some fun games and good food.

 Kael brought walnut shells from home and showed everyone how to make these little pirate ships.

 They tried sailing them in the stream, but the current was a little much for them.

 They went on a hike up the river.

 We found a swimming hole and rope swing.  Uncle Matt stood out in the water and helped all the kids on and off the swing

 We had a big rain storm and had to all huddle under our canopies.

The 4th!

We had a fun concert on the night of the 3rd of July, Ryan Shupe and the Rubberbands came and played.  

 We went to the parade on the 4th and had breakfast at my Mom's afterward/

 Isaac and Kent are second cousins, and such good friends.  They go to preschool together.  I love hearing their conversations together, they are hilarious.

 We drove to Alpine for the afternoon with the Dawsons.  The kids love swimming at Freddie and Heather's.
