Happy Birthday to my Mom!
She turned 50 last week. We had a surprise party, and oh she was surprised! I was worried I would be in the hospital with Hailey over her birthday, but we got released Saturday morning, and we were able to be at the party Saturday night. It was a great night being with everybody (we missed you Jed). My favorite part was after the initial 'surprise', she was hugging all the grandkids, when she realized Luke and Lisa were sitting on the couch (they live in Montana). She let out a little surprised scream, and that's when the tears started. She hadn't seen them at first with everything going on.
There aren't words enough to say how great my Mom is. She's always there when I need her, she's so loving, sweet, and thoughtful.
I just happened to have some fun pictures of when she was a girl, so I thought I'd share what a wonderful lady she is.

There is NO way i believe that your hot mom is 50-- she's 25 tops.
Barb is one of the greatest "Other Mothers" out there... she's totally one of the most wonderful women.

You brought me to tears again until I scrolled down and saw the swim suit picture, If you had not just given me a new grand baby, you would for sure be in trouble.

That was a pretty awesome party, I'm glad that you had Hailey in the time frame that we decided you needed to have her in order for you to be there. I'm glad also glad that you are the older sister to be mainly in charge of planning these things. I'm not that thoughtful.
I just wanted to say that Hailey is beautiful! And I love all the pictures of your mom. I think Jess looks a ton like her.

What a great post!!! Happy birthday to Barb...she is so wonderful.
