this year, we waited until it was fall to go to the zoo. Luke declared Thursday to be the perfect day, since he was out of school for UEA. Although it was incredibly busy, it was worth it because it wasn't hot.

I love that I can finally do her hair in pigtails. It's my favorite.
Abigail was just having an off day, she didn't want to be by us... at the time, I thought she was just grouchy, but it turned out to be strep throat. Since then, we've all had a turn with it except Luke.

Poor Abigail, I wish I had known she had strep. Adam's encouraging her to keep on walking. He was so concerned about her, and there I was just taking pictures.
I don't know what your kids' favorite part of the zoo is, but my kids love the maps. They carry them around all day, then for about a week afterwards. Carly was showing us where we were on her map.
Me and Jess with our girls. They are only six weeks apart, and they love to play together, most of the time.

I vote we always go to the zoo in the fall. It was a beautiful day.
What a fun day! So sad Abigail was sick, glad she is feeling better!
I actually threw Adam's map away yesterday, I had to sneak it though. That was perfect, and I would switch a hot day for a busy zoo anytime.
