Isaac is 1

This boy is the sunshine in our lives.  I can't say enough how much joy and happiness he has brought to our family.  I thought that after a year, the kids wouldn't be so obsessed with carrying him around and playing with him.  They have only become more obsessed with the little guy.

Isaac's favorites-
food- cottage cheese, applesauce, anything someone else is eating
book- bubbles bubbles (he sits in his little chair saying bubbles over and over while holding his book.
toys- balls.  He loves to throw the ball, and he makes a really good effort to catch it too!
song- Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam.  He gets so excited when the primary kids sing it.  I think it's because they jump up and yell the beam part.  He raises his arms and laughs along with them.
activities- being read to, going to Grandma's house, sitting in his car outside, and going for walks.

He dabbles in walking, and talking.  He won't commit to walking quite yet, but he knows how.  He is such a little copy cat.  He tries to say what he hears.  He can sing "let it go". He says, bye, ball, bubble, mama, dada, Aba (Abi), Cccc (Carly), biber (diaper), nana (banana)

Stats- 32 inches {98%} 23lbs 11oz {83%} He obviously takes after his Dad.

His birthday was on a Monday, but we decided to celebrate with Grandparents the night before during our Sunday dinner with the Dawsons.  Ike wasn't feeling very good and he just wanted to snuggle with his Grandmas.  He likes to tuck his arms in while he snuggles and I love it.

He loves to take the balls in the foyer to bounce on the tile

He loved his new reading chair

And his mega blocks

He got all shy when we were singing to him.

He started to perk up and enjoy his birthday

Monday night we still sang to him and had some left over cake for our family night treat.  He was still not feeling very good.

Abigail was so sweet, she really wanted to take a picture of Ike on his birthday.  She went and got a blanket for a back drop, and a ball to make him happy.  We got one picture that he wasn't crying in.

The rest of the day, he was pretty grouchy and spent a lot of time like this.

We love our Ike so much!
