Ben and I were called to go on Trek this year as a Ma and Pa. It was pretty much one of the best experiences we've had. We were blessed with some amazing kids to be in our family... they never ceased to amaze me, and I loved them. They were hard workers, fun to be with, such good examples to me, and had such strong testimonies of the Gospel. I can't believe how well we all got along.
I didn't take my camera, but I found a few pictures of us and our kids from our trek photographer.

Day 3- There were three companies. We were in company B (which obviously stood for the Best)
This was such a tender moment.... we had to do a woman's pull, where all the men were called away. The girls had to pull the handcart up a giant hill and the Ma's weren't allowed to help. I was so proud of my girls. When we got to the top, we saw the men waiting for us with their hats over their hearts.
Our two boys and Ben pulled the handcart the majority of the time. They were awesome.

I'm so happy that we were able to have this experience! We loved Trek!

Meg, I teared up (not that it is hard for me to do anymore) but, these are not my kids. I have such wonderful memories of the two treks that I have been able to participate in and such strong spiritual experiences. I am grateful that you and Ben got to do this together.
